Share a story of a time a challenge helped you build resilience.
One of the biggest challenges I faced in university was stepping into my first leadership position while juggling school and work. Initially, I felt overwhelmed and uncertain about my ability to handle all the responsibilities. Over time, I learned to prioritize, lean on my team, and trust myself to grow into the role. That challenge helped me build resilience and gave me the confidence to take on bigger opportunities, such as VP Events for RMBS this year. Resilience isn't just about pushing through when things get difficult, but also knowing there are people to support you in your journey.

Hi! My name is Michelle Luong, and I am a fourth-year Marketing student. I am so excited to be a part of RMBS 2026 as VP Events. Attending RMBS last year as a delegate was an amazing experience and really pushed me out of my comfort zone. I can't wait to see all of you there and make some awesome memories!
What is your favourite aspect of RMBS?
What I love most about RMBS are the doors it opens. Through the conference, I’ve met amazing students from across the country, connected with corporates from a variety of fields, and learned so much about the business world. It’s even helped me figure out what I might want to do with my degree after graduation. I hope delegates this year can walk away with the same inspiration and opportunities.
