Share a story of a time a challenge helped you build resilience.
Landing my first internship—and everything that came before and after—was anything but a linear process. It challenged my resilience in countless ways, teaching me the value of patience and the importance of working hard even when there were no immediate results. Once I secured the internship, I had to navigate that imposter syndrome, learn how to ask meaningful questions, and embrace the discomfort that comes with growth. Each of these experiences reshaped how I understand resilience. It’s not just about pushing through challenges, it’s also about holding yourself accountable when things go wrong and making sure you don’t repeat the same mistakes. To me, resilience is one of the most important skills anyone can develop. It equips you to overcome roadblocks in your career, and the lessons I gained through my own job search have been incredibly valuable.

Hey everyone! My name is Kelson Nguyen, and I’m heading into my third year of Accounting. I’m excited to be joining the logistics team to help plan this incredible event for 2026. Last year, I had the privilege of attending RMBS as a delegate, where I connected with amazing people, from fellow students to inspiring professionals across a variety of industries. It was one of the most memorable and career-shaping experiences of my undergraduate journey, made even more special by the beautiful venue. I encourage all students to take part in RMBS and to stay curious and excited about the endless opportunities it offers.
What is your favourite aspect of RMBS?
My favorite part of RMBS is the sense of community it creates. The hands-on activities and workshops offer meaningful opportunities to connect with others, helping to build lasting relationships that go far beyond the event itself.
