Jordan Pearson

Hi everyone! My name is Jordan Pearson, and I’m a 4th-year Finance major and one of this year’s Co-Chairs.

RMBS has been one of the biggest highlights of my university experience, and I’m so excited to be back this year to meet all of you and work alongside our amazing team! When I attended RMBS as a delegate, I left feeling refreshed and inspired. The experience pushed me outside of my comfort zone, helped me build confidence in myself, and gave me the opportunity to connect with so many incredible people.

Last year, I had the opportunity to serve as VP Finance, which gave me an entirely new perspective on the conference. The relationships I built with my fellow executives are ones I know will last a lifetime, and seeing all of our hard work come together to create such a successful conference was incredibly rewarding.

After an amazing two years with RMBS, I’m so excited to keep the tradition going and run it back one last time before I graduate! Outside of school, I love working out, hiking, and exploring new coffee shops. I can’t wait to meet everyone and make RMBS 62 one to remember!

What is your favourite aspect of RMBS?

The sense of community is truly my favourite part of RMBS. For 62 years, our legacy has been rooted in bringing people together, building meaningful connections, and creating an environment where everyone can learn from and support one another. To me, that is what makes RMBS more than just a conference, it is a community that stays with you long after the five days in Jasper are over. These relationships have not only grown into meaningful friendships at school, but have also introduced me to new opportunities and perspectives that I may not have encountered otherwise. Being surrounded by inspiring ledaers and like minded peers in one of the most beautiful venues is a special experience.

What are you grateful for?

I am most grateful for the people in my life. I feel incredibly lucky to have a family and group of friends who genuinely want to see me succeed and are always there to support me. My parents have always shown me what hard work, dedication, and perseverance look like, while supporting me through every chapter of my life and encouraging me to pursue my goals. I am also incredibly grateful for my friends, especially the people on this team, who inspire me every day and remind me that I never have to navigate challenges alone. Being surrounded by people I can lean on during difficult times, celebrate with during the good ones, and learn from every day is something I never take for granted.
