Share a story of a time a challenge helped you build resilience.
The first time I entered the corporate world—or what I call "big girl job"—was a crash course in resilience. As a student, I focus on studying hard and getting good grades, so I expected that applying my knowledge would be easy. I quickly learned that wasn't always the case, and I had to become resilient in my approach to problem-solving and be willing to put myself out there to learn new skills. Over time, I discovered the power of networking, asking questions, and being okay with making mistakes. The most important lesson I learned is that resilience isn't about knowing all the answers; it's about having the courage to try and committing to continuous growth.

Hi everyone! My name is Jordan Pearson, and I'm a third-year finance student serving as the VP Finance for RMBS this year. Last year, attending the conference as a delegate was such a motivating experience. I am so grateful for the connections I made and left feeling inspired. This year, I'm excited to be part of the team that makes it all happen, and I can't wait to help create a memorable experience and some fun new memories for all of you. See you there!
What is your favourite aspect of RMBS?
My favourite aspect of RMBS is the people! Last year as a delegate I made so many new friends from across Canada. I am grateful that RMBS is able to bring together 100 amazing, friendly, and like-minded people. My friends continue to inspire me and encourage me everyday, I am so thankful for the RMBS community!
