Jesse Kupina is a husband, father & business owner who is passionate about shaping Edmonton’s hospitality industry, leaving a positive footprint on our community and to help shape our collective well-being through consciousness and awareness. 

He brings more than 20 years’ experience working in restaurants, bars and nightclubs where he has done everything from wash dishes and bartend, to manage restaurants, to creating and launching new independent concepts. As a result, Jesse brings energy, wisdom and a fresh perspective to the business community in Edmonton and the Capital Region.

He experienced a transformational shift in his life in his late 30’s. As a result, adopted an unwavering commitment to personal growth through mindfulness, a relentless pursuit of optimal health through physical fitness and promise to be the most incredible husband and father, committed to providing his family an amazing life. 

Jesse always dreamed of owning his own restaurant and bar, passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences. This innovative & growth-based approach has guided both Jesse’s business and personal lives.  Jesse received his Diploma in Management Studies from Grant MacEwan University, is currently a lululemon brand ambassador and is amidst a multi-year program learning energy & light work. Jesse was appointed to the provincial government’s Alberta Safer Bar Council in 2010 and remains a Council member still today. Jesse sat as the Board Vice President of Edmonton Business Association and was selected as one of Avenue Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2015. 

Jesse believes that no matter our walk of life, we are only ever two decisions away from misfortune. This philosophy has guided how he thinks about and gives back to the community. Jesse is an active supporter of The Abbottsfield Youth Project, giving his time and strategic support to this nonprofit which gives children ages 6-12 a chance at a better life and a stronger connection to our community. 

Through his endeavours, has supported hundreds of fundraisers and charities, including the MS Society, Habitat for Humanity, the Bissell Centre, the Youth Emergency Shelter Society (YESS), the St. Albert Food Bank, Operation Christmas Child and Kaleo Collective. Central Social Hall also helps post-secondary groups, charities, sports teams and extracurricular clubs raise money to support their goals and efforts.

Whether it’s at one of his restaurant properties, people in his community or with the kids he works with in Northeast Edmonton, Jesse is dedicated to creating environments where everyone is given opportunity, tools, support, belief and the encouragement to succeed.
