Eric Geng

Hey all! My name is Eric Geng. I am currently in my third year, majoring in accounting. As this year's Associate PR, I am responsible for creating all the content for the club, whether it be a new Instagram post, a website update, or a poster you might see on a wall. When I went as a delegate last year, RMBS really inspired me with courage and a newfound feeling of empowerment. I really hope this upcoming conference will have the same impact on you!

What is your favourite aspect of RMBS?

I love the opportunity to escape the busy city, spend a week in the beautiful mountains, and befriend people I might never have met otherwise. I appreciate how it surrounds me with people I can look up to, and inspires me to become the best version of myself.

Share a story of a time a challenge helped you build resilience.

Moving to Edmonton for post-secondary studies was a significant challenge that I’m still navigating. From making new friends in a city full of strangers, trying to find a job, and even mundane everyday tasks like meal-prepping, there were countless things I had to figure out on my own. Through both the successes and the failures, this experience has helped me grow into a more confident and resilient person.
