Bella Bouliane

Hi everyone! My name is Bella Bouliane, and I’m a fourth-year Finance student at the University of Alberta. After attending RMBS as a delegate last year, I knew I wanted to come back and help create that same experience for the next group of students. I’m especially excited to be part of the External team and connect with the organizations and individuals who help make the conference possible. Outside of RMBS, I enjoy volunteering, love meeting new people, taking on new challenges, and finding opportunities to grow. I can’t wait to see everyone in Jasper!

What is your favourite aspect of RMBS?

My favourite aspect of RMBS is the people you meet and the relationships that come from the experience. Going into the conference last year, I expected to learn from the speakers and corporate representatives, but I didn’t expect to leave with such meaningful friendships and connections with other delegates. There is something really unique about bringing together 100 ambitious students from across Canada for a week in Jasper. You are constantly surrounded by people with different experiences, goals, and perspectives, and there is so much to learn from everyone. RMBS pushed me outside my comfort zone and introduced me to some of my best friends and mentors.

What are you grateful for?

I’m most grateful for the people in my life and the opportunities I’ve been fortunate enough to experience. My family and friends have always been a huge source of support and encouragement, and I’m grateful to have people who challenge me, celebrate with me, and keep me grounded. I’m also incredibly thankful for the opportunities I’ve had through university to meet new people, travel, learn, and take on experiences that have pushed me outside of my comfort zone. I try not to take those opportunities for granted, because so many of the experiences and people I’ve encountered have shaped who I am today.
