Share a story of a time a challenge helped you build resilience.

I went on exchange during my undergraduate degree and the process of getting it all figured out was anything but smooth. From finding accomodations to the classes I could take and also deciding where would be the best fit for me, it was a challenging time. Despite all this, I ended up going to Spain where I encountered even more challenges: a language barrier and living accross the world from all of my friends and family. It took some adjusting, and a lot of adventures on my own to discover my new home and make a new community but the biggest lesson I gained was knowing that no challenge was impossible. You just have to take it day by day!

Determined

Hi everyone! My name is Aurélie Alexandre and I am one of the co-chairs of RMBS 61! I am going into the last year of my undergraduate degree and am so excited to have RMBS in my journey one last time. I have previously been the VP Logistics so I know the conference inside and out and this year, I am eager to help continue the legacy of RMBS as we go into a new decade. RMBS has been one of the best parts of my undergrad and I recommend that everyone try to attend at least one of the conferences! The connections, lessons and friendships you walk away with will last you a lifetime!

What is your favourite aspect of RMBS?

RMBS creates a unique environment of being in the beautiful mountains alongside dedicated delegates that are there for the same reason as you are; to learn, have fun and grow! Because of the length of the conference, you can really build the connections you make while also making some of your best memories.
